Hello. Welcome.

My name is Alli Decker and I am a fiber artist located in the San Francisco Bay Area.  I have always loved interesting thread, ribbon, rope, and yarn and have been a maker all my life. Using stash, scraps, felt, and other found items, I create unique pieces using "traditional" techniques like knitting, sewing, and weaving. While I'm interested in the natural world, I am most inspired by the materials themselves.

I'm continuously intrigued by the flexibility of working with a wide variety of textiles and natural fibers. Currently, I  make  wearables,  housewares,  shadow boxes, soft sculpture, and wall hangings.  My work is often playful, but I like to think it also reflects warmth and simplicity.
